About Jerry Ludwig

Since 1986 Jerry Ludwig and Ludwig Associates, Inc. have provided Rochester area homeowners with consultation services to better understand, maintain, and repair older homes as well as to creatively build new ones.

Owner Jerry Ludwig has had an extensive residential construction background including  site superintendent and building inspector.  He has owned and managed his own construction company and has been a licensed general contractor and was a home inspector for more than 20 years.

Ludwig's weekly “Home Front” column in the Democrat and Chronicle has answered Rochester area homeowner’s questions for over two decades as have his appearances as a guest editor on WXXI's 1370 Connections.

Ludwig holds graduate degrees from the University of Virginia, the State University of New York, and has a B. A. from Muskingum College.

Jerry Ludwig was founding President of the Rochester Chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors, is a current member and former President of the Landmark Society of Western New York Board of Trustees, is a member of Historic Pittsford and Historic Brighton. Ludwig is an Honorary Member of the American Institute of Architects.
